Dental Phobia
I had a bad dental experience as a young child, dental phobia that I carry today. My psychiatrist advised me to read on anything pm dentistry to lessen my fear. surfed all the websites on dentistry I could find on my laptop. I even went as far as researching on dental courses and dental jobs. I was particularly interested on the diseases of the mouth and the methods of treatment. I read a patients comment on dental implants bolton expertise that showed images of her before and after the process and was impressed.
I wanted my old smile that everybody admired. The image I saw frightened me, I had a missing tooth spaced between a crooked and misaligned set of teeth, that were discolored and looked so worn out from years of dental neglect. When I read that one of the step was to drill on my gums, it scared me but to look pleasing even at age, outweighed the anxiety. So equipped with the methods and techniques of getting what dental clinics call “extreme oral makeover” I made an appointment at Boltons. A charming dentist, about my age, sensing my phobia, eased me with small talk. He saw my problems and discussed with me the methods/procedures. Over many lunches and dinner, I, eventually, got that enigmatic smile back.
